2nd Freelancers Meetup + Anniversary

WPKitchen began with a simple question:

Q: How can I (Pomy) make a meaningful, practical contribution to the WordPress community?

The answer was simple yet powerful: help WordPress freelancers more than code — share meals, stories, and support.

WPKitchen is a community-powered food program subsidized through sponsorships, where freelancers pay just 30% for daily lunches while sponsors cover the remaining 70%. We connect the WordPress community across Pakistan through tea and lunch giveaways, and sponsor dinners while creating meaningful experiences for both our community and our sponsors.

Since our launch in November 2023, we have delivered over 400 lunches, served more than 40 teas, and welcomed around 40 WordPress influencers as honorary guests. With over 20 sponsors, 4 workspaces, and 25 home kitchens involved, WPKitchen has grown into a social kitchen network for freelancers.

Two years later, that simple idea has turned into a growing movement.

On Sunday, 16th November 2025, we are celebrating our 2nd anniversary with a curated dinner for 30 ~ 50 WordPress professionals, entrepreneurs, and freelancers in Faisalabad and launching a limited sponsorship round called the Fantastic Four, offering clear visibility and impact for each partner. If we secure all four sponsors, we’ll increase the number of freelancer seats to 100.

✨ During this event, we’ll also be announcing in detail the F3 — Freelancers from Faisalabad, an independent and neutral community platform designed to connect, support, and empower local freelancers across all skill levels.

To attend the meetup, you’ll need one of the following tickets:

🍽️ Freelancer’s Self-Fund Ticket: — Your contribution covers 30% of the event cost (tea, dinner & venue). Sponsors cover the remaining 70%.

🍽️ Sponsor Ticket: — Your contribution covers 70% of the event cost (tea, dinner, venue & management). Freelancers cover the remaining 30%. Together, we keep meetups running!.
