[Event Recap] Meet Time #03 by WPKitchen

On Saturday, 20th December 2025, we hosted our third self-funded meetup with a curated dinner for 32 freelancers, entrepreneurs, and WordPress professionals in Faisalabad. Seats were limited. JetpackEwww, and Career Institute sponsored this meetup.

After the success of our second meetup, we received valuable feedback from participants that they didn’t get enough time to introduce themselves. This feedback encouraged us to rethink our approach and explore a better way to include everyone, ensuring that each participant had sufficient time to speak and be heard.

The issue of limited time was largely due to our second venue, Quilim Marquee. The venue was handed over to us 30 minutes late, and we also had to vacate on time because another event was scheduled immediately after ours.

To address this concern, we called a core meetup on Sunday, 7th December 2025, to specifically discuss time management and participant engagement. This meetup marked the first time Irfan Shafi joined us as a host. Since he is the admin of a freelancers’ group, we decided to include him in our hosting team. We also invited our cameraman, Usama Zahoor, who manages photography and videography for our meetups. The purpose was to align on directions and expectations for coverage in upcoming events.

This core meetup proved to be very fruitful. After discussion, we finalized the venue for our third meetup: the Circle Club Conference Room.

The conference room offered excellent facilities, including a microphone for every participant and a projector. It had everything we needed to properly introduce our newly formed community of freelancers and founders from Faisalabad, called F3.

On Saturday, 13th December 2025, we visited the venue and officially booked it for our third meetup. All five hosts were present, including Muhammad Ikram, our graphic designer, who handles sponsor display setups and all graphic-related work.

Finally, on Saturday, 20th December 2025, the much-awaited day arrived as we headed to the Circle Club conference room for our third meetup.

A total of 32 people attended the event, including our workspace and venue partner, Adeel Javaid.

We began the meetup with the recitation of the Holy Quran. After that, following an anticlockwise order, each participant introduced themselves. During the introduction session, we also invited questions, whether about our community or for Sir Adeel Javaid.

Once the introductions were complete, we presented the F3 community. We announced Google Chat as the primary platform for F3, allowing us to scale easily and create different chat rooms for jobs, events, news, support, and more. The slides introducing the F3 platform are available in our LinkedIn post.

On the spot, we received very positive feedback. Participants shared that the meetup felt “VIP” in nature and that everyone had ample time to speak and express themselves.

After the session, we took a group photo and then moved to the adjacent restaurant, Pulse Restaurant by Circle Club, for dinner.

The Next Meetup?

We are planning to organize the fourth meetup. The next venue is bigger, more participants are signing up than before, our expectations are high, and we are excited to make this event even better.
