I love the idea behind this. It’s always important to reflect on those who can’t attend a WordCamp, for whatever reason, and bring their spirit, energy, and ideas with us as we meet. This is the perfect reminder to do so and to remember how far reaching the WordPress world is if we let it.

Such a simple idea, yet it somehow feels more personal. A cup of tea sounds small on paper, but in reality it creates conversations, makes people feel included, and reminds everyone that communities are built through human moments. Really creative initiative.

Two things that bring people together are food and beverage. Donating teas and lunches through WP Kitchen, is a great way to connect people across miles and around events. My compliments to the chef!
