Treat Time #21 was a little different from our usual giveaways.

Sponsored by Rita Robles Loaiza, this edition had Alina Kakshapati select Hasina Hassan from Gilgit-Baltistan as the winner. Since Foodpanda does not operate in her area, Hasina kindly chose to share her lunch with Faizan Ashraf from Faisalabad, and we successfully delivered it to him.

This experience reminded us that we need to keep our process flexible to make sure everyone can take part, regardless of their location.

Foodpanda vouchers will remain our first choice wherever the service is available. In areas where Foodpanda does not operate, we may provide the lunch amount directly so the winner can buy lunch locally and share a photo and the invoice with us for transparency.

Winners can also choose to share or forward their lunch to another community member, making the experience even more meaningful.

Treat Time is more than a lunch giveaway. It’s about sharing food, supporting freelancers, and bringing the WordPress community closer together. ❤️
