4. Giveaways
WPKitchen runs food and drink giveaway programs that bring the WordPress community together. Our weekly Treat Time gives participants a chance to enjoy a free sponsored lunch, while Tea Time is a special giveaway occasionally organized alongside WordCamps.

5. Tea Time for WordCamp US, 2026
WPKitchen has successfully wrapped up its second Tea Time campaign alongside WordCamp Europe.
Up to 40 WordCamp attendees participated in selecting the winners from the WordPress Pakistan community, and together we delivered 40 cups of tea.
As a special tradition, the first seat was reserved for Matt Mullenweg, while the first tea was awarded to the very first community member who entered the giveaway.
We’re now excited to launch our third Tea Time campaign alongside the WordPress flagship event, WordCamp US 2026, taking place in Phoenix, Arizona, from August 16–19, 2026.

6. 4th WordPress Contributors Meeting
Meeting at Career Institute, Faisalabad. We were delighted to welcome five new participants who expressed an interest in contributing to WordPress and becoming part of the global open-source community.

7. Join WordPress Slack Channels
The Pakistan WordPress community now has official dedicated channels in the Make WordPress Slack, making it easier for contributors, freelancers, developers, organizers, and Urdu translators to collaborate within the global WordPress project. The initiative, launched as part of WordPress’s multilingual Slack expansion, includes channels for general discussions, community events, education, and Urdu translations.

WordPress Faisalabad Community Now Has a Channel in Make WordPress Slack
Our request for a dedicated Slack channel within the Make WordPress Slack workspace has been approved, and the new channel, #wp-fsd, is now available for members of the Faisalabad WordPress community.

9. Talk Time Interviews
Something new is cooking at WPKitchen. 👀
We’re launching a new written interview series that explores the people behind WordPress in a way you may not have seen before.
Beyond contributions and careers, we’ll uncover the stories, experiences, and little details that make our community so unique.
